V.S. designs and manufactures fiberglass tanks since 1979. Our tanks - for civil and industrial use - are suitable for different fields of use: oenological, chemical and water treatment.
Thanks to our Internal Design Department, we can develop products tailored to the needs of our customers, quickly managing to study and propose technological and economic solutions appropriate to the type of work required.
The manufacture of the tanks relies on avant-garde machinery and a strong artisan component, thus ensuring the practical and aesthetic success of the final result.

The machining techniques for the manufacture of our tanks
Hand lay-up
Manual lamination or hand layup is the simplest moulding technique. This system consists in applying layers of resin and fabrics, interspersed with the removal of air bubbles, until the desired thickness is reached. It allows us manufacturing various products with multiple shapes, thus maintaining high quality surface finish.
Spray-up
This technique involves the impregnation of the glass fibre placed on the moulds with the "cutting and spray gun", which simultaneously spreads the glass fibres in jagged form (chopped strand) and the catalysed resin onto the mould, in order to obtain a quick and uniform stratification.
Subsequently, bubble breakers are used to eliminate the air introduced into the mould during machining.
Filament Winding
This operation involves the winding of continuous-thread roving impregnated with resin directly onto the mould of the tank to be manufactured. The result of the machining is a product with a high structural rigidity.
